施国勇1987年毕业于复旦大学数学系应用数学专业。1997年获日本京都工艺纤维大学系统工学硕士学位。2002年获美国华盛顿州立大学电气工程哲学博士(Ph.D.)学位。2002年至2005年在美国华盛顿大学(西雅图)电气工程系从事博士后研究。2005年7月起任上海交通大学微电子学院(现为微纳电子学系)教授,2007年起担任博士生导师。主要从事集成电路设计自动化研究。在应用符号化(symbolic)方法开发混合信号集成电路设计自动化工具领域做出了重要贡献。自2006年以来他是四项国家自然科学基金面上项目主持人;2007年上海市浦江人才基金获得者;2010年教育部博士点基金获得者。他已在设计自动化领域发表60多篇论文,其他论文涉及自动控制和机器学习。他编写的教材《数字信号处理FPGA电路设计》2010年由高等教育出版社出版。他撰写的英文专著《Advanced Symbolic Analysis for VLSI Systems: Methods and Applications》2014年由Springer出版社出版。他曾获得2007年IEEE电路与系统协会Donald O. Pederson最佳论文奖。他主导开发的模拟集成电路符号化分析教学工具已发布在aice.sjtu.edu.cn。

Guoyong Shi received the BS degree in Applied Mathematics from Fudan University in 1987, the MS degree in Systems Engineering from Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University in Pullman, USA, in 2002. Prior to joining Shanghai Jiao Tong University, he was a post-doctor researcher in the Electrical Engineering Department of University of Washington in Seattle, USA, from 2002 to 2005. He became a professor in the School of Microelectronics (currently Department of Micro/Nano-electronics) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2006, His main research field is in the design automation of analog and mixed-signal circuits and systems. He has made significant contribution in symbolic computation techniques for analog/mixed-signal IC design automation. Currently, his research interest has been extended to design and automation of circuits and systems capable of learning. He has been principal investigator of four NSFC projects since 2006, and receiver of Shanghai Pujiang Talent Project in 2007 and a doctoral degree education grant from the Ministry of Education of China. Dr. Shi has published over 60 research papers on design automation, and other papers on systems and control, and machine learning. In addition, he has published one textbook, “FPGA Circuit Design for Digital Signal Processing” (Higher Education Press, 2010, in Chinese), and one monograph, “Advanced Symbolic Analysis for VLSI Systems: Methods and Applications”(Springer, 2014). Dr. Shi was the co-recipient of Donald Pederson Best Paper award from the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society in 2007. An educational symbolic circuit analysis tool developed under his supervision has been released online at: aice.sjtu.edu.cn.
