Dr Mao Zhigang received his B.S. degree in Semiconductor Devices and physics from TsinghuaUniversity and his Ph.D degree in Information and Communication from University de Rennes I, France. From 1992 to 2006, he worked as a professor of Harbin Institute of Technology . He has been a vice dean of the School of Microelectronics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2006.
He was the main designer of the first IC Card Chip of China, he has received one National award for Science and Technology Progress and two Province awards for Science and Technology Progress. His research area is Digital IC design and Computer System Architecture. He has published over 50 papers in recent five years.
