ICGCS 2010 was held in Shanghai

The First International Conference on Green Circuits and Systems was held in Shanghai from 21 June to 23 June, 2010. The ICGCS 2010 is an international forum co-sponsored jointly by School of Microelectronics,Shanghai Jiao Tong University and two IEEE CAS Society’s Technical Committees, viz. Digital Signal Processing Technical Committee and Biomedical Circuits and Systems Technical Committee. This conference is established for scientists, engineers, educationists, students and executives, to exchange their latest findings and wisdoms on circuits and systems that consume less power, less materials, less resources, and environmentally more friendly.

Prof Mao Zhigang, vice Dean of School of Microelectronics, SJTU, gave a welcome speech on behalf of the Organizing Committee. Prof Gianluca Setti, the president of IEEE CAS Society presented a keynote speech. About 150 experts from world-wide universities and research institutes discussed the latest technologies related to green circuits and systems in the conference.
