On June 1, Professor Sobelman and 15 students from the University of Minnesota visited SJTU. The delegation discussed with the teachers and students of School of Microelectronics (SoME) and visited the lab of SoME.
Professor Fu Yuzhuo, the vice dean of SoME warmly welcome the visitors, Professor Ma Jun gave an introduction of SoME, Representatives of professors and graduate students introduced their research areas to the visitors. After the discussion, the delegation visited the Innovation Lab of SoME and watched the demo of the innovation experimental research projects.
This visit was one of the practical activities of the course “Digital Technology in China” in Minnesota University. This visit also laid a good foundation to further academic cooperation and student exchange of Minnesota and SJTU.
