在美国田纳西大学获得物理学博士(2000)与工商管理硕士学位(2004),曾经在美国能源部橡树岭国家实验室担任研究员多年,并在美国佐治亚理工学院、田纳西大学等多所大学担任客座或兼职教授。在美学习、工作期间曾多次荣获嘉奖和荣誉,包括美国能源部部长的亲函嘉奖和“年度发明家奖”。先后在相关的学术期刊(包括Nature Nanotechnology,Nano Energy,Nanoscale等)上发表了100多篇学术论文、17件授权中国专利和6项国际专利。回国后指导毕业了50多位博士后、博士、硕士研究生顺利出站/毕业,先后有10多位同学获得研究生国家奖学金、优秀毕业生等,获得30多项创新创业比赛大奖。
